2021 –  A journey toward existence and excellence

I strongly believe and keep repeating to all my loved ones that if we are alive and healthy by end-2021, then we have made a profit and are about to make a big win in the field, wherever we are.

2020 was a year of lockdown and about remaining alive; 2021 is a year to be alive, run, and breathe.

2020 – A year of shutdown and lockdown. We saw many small to micro labs shutting down, due to lack of manpower, funds, and healthcare professionals succumbing to COVID or co-morbid situations.

For Asavlee Labs it was both a tough and exciting journey – tough, because we had to face a lot of challenges like fewer staff, less resources, less business, and poor health issues with existing staff.

However, we have made it, and are here in August 2021. Exciting, because my team was determined to run with me remain Asavlee Labs survive. Our team was committed to working and sweating it out and making our dream come true.

2021 – A year of consolidation and expansion
This year is a year of consolidation and expansion. We are aiming and planning to be one of the best labs for serving our clients with customized services in the field of diagnostics, particularly in the field of autoimmunity, infertility, and microbiology (including infectious diseases).

In autoimmunity, Asavlee plans to collaborate with industry partners to conduct research in various conditions like RA, SLE, BOH, CNS, and newer conditions.

We plan to do this by putting together a good robust structure, along with a good foundation at the base with excellent management team, quality team, and subject matter experts in various fields in diagnostics. Asavlee also plans a special infertility setup for male infertility and research, along with maternal screening, particularly marker studies and genetic counselling with experts.

With this, Asavlee will be one of the first few labs, particularly diagnostics labs, catering to the growing needs of the clinicians in the field of infertility.

Asavlee would love to travel across Maharashtra with Center of Excellence (CoE) in various subjects like histopathology, immunology, and microbiology.

Our aim is to serve Tier-II areas with affordable, faster turnaround time reports. Asavlee has launched a learning channel called Lab Leanings – a learning portal for young professionals and our patients. Very soon, we will be inviting the best subject experts in various fields and also will be sharing the real-time interesting cases on the channel so that we are able to spread knowledge about the same, which will benefit the population at large.
