Apollo Clinic, a multi-specialty clinic run by Apollo Health & Lifestyle (AHLL), on Tuesday announced a strategic partnership with India’s largest apartment management and security solution provider Apna Complex, to set up a chain of ‘society clinics’ for the first time ever in India. AHLL is a subsidiary of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise (AHEL). Large residential communities with 500 or more apartments in almost all cities will now have ‘society clinics’ on their complexes to have quick access to a range of healthcare services. It will start with Bengaluru, Pune, Chennai and Hyderabad, and subsequently extend the chain to eight more cities, setting up over 500 centers in the next three years. The clinics will offer consultations, diagnostics (blood sample collection for all tests), health check-up packages, vital screenings like BP/BMI/Ht/Wt/RBS, vaccinations (adult/flu/cervical), minor treatments (nebulization, minor cuts/bruises, injections) and basic life support.
On the tie up, Anand, chief operating officer (COO) of Apollo Clinic, said, “The right to quality healthcare must be considered an individual’s fundamental right and we at Apollo are committed to enhancing the quality of lives by making healthcare services easily available, and accessible to all individuals. Our partnership with Apna Complex will serve expert healthcare to large residential complexes through our clinics, and through the app almost in all metro cities. Today, residential complexes have spawned both in number and size, and it is very relevant for us to cater to such large communities. I am sure this pioneering concept will see growing demand, considering that, on an average, there are more than 150 residential complexes in every metro city, which have 500 + apartments.”
“We are happy to join hands with Apollo Clinic to launch society clinics,” said Amit Tyagi, CBO, Apna Complex. “The ApnaComplex app will make it convenient for all our residents, in both small and large apartments, to book services of the Apollo Clinic nearest to them at special prices. But we are not only focusing on medical treatments, but also on preventing and managing diseases. Our app will also provide residents key health tips and advice from Apollo’s top doctors to prevent and deal with typical health issues, especially lifestyle diseases. An Apollo family physician will be available on site, while the entire set of Apollo specialists will be online or visit on call, the release said. Apollo Clinic run a large network of 70 clinics, owned and thorough franchises in India and overseas. – Financial Express
