Apollo Hospitals Launches Brain And Spine Suite With Advanced Intra Operative MRI

Hyderabad: A dedicated Brain Suite and Spine Suite equipped with advanced Intra-Operative MRI was announced by Apollo Hospitals on Sunday.

The one-of-its-kind centre will also have advanced neuro-navigation frame and frameless stereotactic system, cranial and spinal complete endoscopic system, intra-operative neuro physiological monitor, intra-operative ultrasound, robotic spine mazor system, O-arm surgical imaging system and neuro navigation to increase precision of surgeries.

“This facility brings about many times greater precision eliminating human errors to a large extent, in the treatment of the brain and spine. The patient friendly technology enables better results with smaller incisions, minimal blood loss, fewer surgical complications, and reduced hospitalisation,” said Dr Sangita Reddy, joint MD of Apollo Hospitals-Hyderabad.-Times Of India
