Blue Star wins an order for 28 medical CT scanners from UP medical and health services

Blue Star Limited’s wholly owned subsidiary Blue Star Engineering & Electronics Limited, has won a prestigious order of `100 crore from Uttar Pradesh Medical and Health Services (UPMHS), Lucknow, for supply, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of 28 medical CT scanners at trauma centers in 28 different district hospitals across Uttar Pradesh, such as Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, Lucknow; Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, Varanasi; and Manyavar Kanshiram Combined Hospital, Kanpur; to name a few.

The order comprises Hitachi advanced 16-slice CT scanners, which are ultrafast and enable complete patient study within just a few minutes. The distinct patient-centric design of these CT scanners provides a comfortable experience even for most challenging patients. The company’s installation team and hospital representatives are working closely and installation is going on in multiple centers concurrently in an effort to meet the stringent timelines.
