Chhatarpur hospital receives advanced medical equipment

In its continuing attempt to augment the healthcare infrastructure of Chhatarpur, Essel Mining& Industries Ltd (EMIL) donated a state-of-the-art C-arm imaging device, hi-flow nasal cannula with quick blood testing tool to the district health hospital in Chhatarpur.

This will help ensure quick diagnosis and treatment for the residents of Chhatarpur. Company has also donatedmortuary freezer to the district health hospital.On this occasion, the district collector, Mr. G R Sandeep, inaugurated the whole ceremony and expressed his keen interest in the working of the equipment. He lauded the humanitarian efforts of Essel Mining and appreciated company’s commitment to the welfare of local community. He hopes to garner company’s support to the Government and the district in the future as well.

The collector also planted a sapling in the hospital premise to mark a new beginning.The equipment was handed over to the hospital in the presence of the Chief Medical and Health Officer, Dr. Vijay Pathoria, and other senior officials.

Dr Pathoria said, “early detection and treatment will be possible for patients because of these medical tools”.Essel Mining has been making sustained efforts to enhance the medical infrastructure of the Chhatarpur district. Yesterday, the company donated an advanced life support ambulance, equipped with a ventilator and life-saving devices, to Buxwaha Community Health Centre. This is in addition to the digital X-ray machine, blood-testing equipment and other medical tools that were donated last year on Gandhi Jayanti.

Essel Mining has been awarded the Letter of Intent for the Bunder Diamond Block, a Greenfield mining project located in Buxwaha tehsil of Chhatarpur.

The project, besides generating over 1,500 direct and indirect jobs, will help in creating a state-of-the-art infrastructure and new benchmarks for health care and education in the region.This project will greatly enable the economic and social development of the region. Daily Pioneer
