CM Keen on Improving Conditions of Government Hospitals in AP

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Home Nimmakayala Chinna Rajappa has said that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was keen on improving the conditions of the government hospitals in the state by providing modern equipment and also upgrading the hospitals in the rural areas. Addressing the World Hepatitis Day celebrations function at the Apollo hospitals on Saturday, he said, Hepatitis disease was dangerous and people should take all precautions to keep away from its incidence. Pointing out that several people are falling a prey to the hepatitis disease especially Hepatitis B and C due to negligence and lack of proper awareness on the dangerous affects, he said, it could be effectively treated if diagnosed in early stages. He cited how some of his friends have lost their lives due to lack of awareness and approaching the doctors after the disease becoming chronic. The Minister has complimented the Apollo Hospital management for its efforts in creating awareness among the people on Hepatitis B and C and conducting free medical tests with service motto. – United News of India
