Covid-19 India updates: Fresh cases drop below 7K

Fresh Covid-19 cases in India fell from a day earlier, dropping below the 7,000-mark.

The country added 6,809 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry’s update as of 8 a.m. on Sept. 4.

The active tally continued its downward trend, dropping to 55,114.

The current recovery rate stands at 98.69%.
