ECIL donates 100 COVID BEEP devices to ESIC Hospital

Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) donated a hundred COVID BEEP devices to ESIC Hospital, Sanathnagar, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The device is a remote health monitoring device that is used for tracking the health of different patients and quarantined people remotely.

The ECIL team has demonstrated the functioning of the devices for measuring the vital parameters of a coronavirus patient like body temperature, amount of blood oxygen (SpO2), heartbeat rate, respiration rate and ECG (Electrocardiogram) along with the patient’s location. The application software can display these parameters on mobile phones, laptops or desktop computers. The system will reduce the exposure of doctors/frontline healthcare personnel to the patients and can be easily installed in hospital premises/quarantine centres.

ESIC doctors thanked ECIL for providing this device. Representatives from ECIL, A Malviya, GM (HR), C Munikrishna, AGM (P&A), V Satyanarayana, SM (CAD), Sunil Kumar (Personnel Officer), Bhaskar Reddy (President), office bearers Mahipal and Pavan, attended the event. Telangana Today
