Fortis Healthcare Appoints Ajay Vij as New CIO

Gurugram headquartered Fortis Healthcare has named Ajay Vij has been named as the new CIO. Earlier, he was the head of supply chain management at Fortis Healthcare for over two years. Vij is an expert in e-commerce, retail, healthcare, consulting, financial services and manufacturing sectors. Vij has previously worked in companies such as Reliance Retail, Siemens Information Systems, Pedder Johnson Finance, Crompton Greaves and SWIL. He has more than two decades of experience in the industry.

Veneeth Pururshotaman joins Aster DM Healthcare

Earlier, Veneeth Purushotaman was the CIO at Fortis Healthcare. He joined Aster DM Healthcare as Group CIO on September 25.  At Fortis, he was responsible for driving technology and digitization across the organization. He was previously the CIO at Bharti Retail. He has also worked in HyperCity Retail India, Shoppers Stop, Rhone Poulenc India and OSTPL-NIIT Franchise. He specializes in driving business transformation and transition using IT. Other than being the CIO, Purushotaman is also an angel investor at CHCIO and Joint Secretary at CHIME. At Aster DM Healthcare, he will be responsible for the global IT strategy of the company. Purushotaman will also be driving the digital transformation for the chain of hospitals. – CIO India
