Fujifilm SonoSite to give $90K for COVID-19 research

Ultrasound developer Fujifilm SonoSite announced it will give $90,000 in research grants to emergency physicians to study the role ultrasound plays in COVID-19.

The company also soon will release a SonoSite PX point-of-care ultrasound system that can be integrated into more COVID-19 care pathways.

The Fujifilm SonoSite COVID-19 Point-of-Care Ultrasound Acceleration Research Grant, which was created to support the Emergency Medicine Foundation COVID-19 research grant program, will accept applications through August 21. Winners will be announced in September 2020. – Auntminnie
