Govt taking steps to improve manpower in 20 branches of Tura hospital

Minister in-charge Health & Family Welfare James K Sangma on Wednesday informed that over 20 branches are available in the Tura hospital.

Replying to a query raised by Selsella legislator Ferlin CA Sangma in the Assembly, James said medical equipment/machineries under the various branches are well equipped for proper investigation/treatment so as to diagnose the diseases.

He however said the branches are not well equipped with man-power as per the prescribed norms.

“The steps being taken by the government (to improve the same) is under consideration,” the minister added. Syllad
