Ground-breaking topics to be discussed at the Saudi Rare Disease Summit

Under the supervision of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialities, the Saudi Pediatric Neurology Society (SPNS) and Maarefah Management announce the inauguration of the Saudi Rare Disease Summit. The summit will take place 16-17 March in Riyadh, KSA. This pioneering platform will highlight rare diseases related to practice in pediatric neurology, in addition to metabolic and genetic close related disorders with neurological manifestation related to these diseases.

This outstanding medical event aims to create a heightened awareness of the unique challenges posed by rare diseases and to explore advances in the diagnosis, treatment, and support of rare disease patients. Topics include: Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Pediatric Neurofibromatosis, Newborn Screening, Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), Rare disease Registry, Clinical Research in Rare Diseases, Genetic testing, Stem Cell Therapies for Rare Diseases, and Gene Therapy.
