Health Officials Order Expediting Construction of OPD and ICU

Senior officials of state health department visited the GDMC hospital on Friday and directed the work executing agency to expedite pending construction work. On the day the health and family welfare deputy secretary S S Rawat and under-secretary Shiv Shankar Mishra visited the hospital. The duo along with the Medical Superintendent (MS) of the hospital Dr K K Tamta inspected the under construction Out Patient Department (OPD) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) complex of the hospital and directed the officers of Uttar Pradesh Nirman Nigam Limited (UPRNL) to expedite the work. Issue related to black listing of the company coupled with delay in release of the budget has resulted in long delay in construction of these complexes in the GDMC Hospital. – Daily Pioneer
