HMIF inaugurates O2 plant at Uthiramerur govt hospital
Kancheepuram, Dec 21 (UNI) Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF), the philanthropic arm of Hyundai Motor India Limited, on Tuesday inaugurated a 50 litre per minute (LPM) oxygen generation plant at the Uthiramerur Government Hospital in this district of Tamil Nadu.
Uthiramerur Legislator K Sundar inaugurated the oxygen plant in the presence of Mr.Ganesh Mani.S, HMIF Trustee and other state officials.
The plant will address the oxygen requirement of about 13 ICU beds in the hospital. The medical oxygen will help treat the Covid-19 patients in the hospital and also meet the demand of oxygen for other related ailments. This oxygen plant is one of the three plants set up in Tamil Nadu. The other two plants are located in Cuddalore and Chennai districts, a release from HMIF said. United News of India
