In-Med Prognostics Launches NEUROShield

AI can be applied anywhere! The technology holds an upper edge when it comes to certain tasks. The development of artificial intelligence technology has brought forth the era of autonomous cars, realistic robots, intelligent chatbots, and AI YouTubers. Now, In-Med Prognostics, a Pune based health tech company, has launched NEUROShield which is a cloud-based Clinical Decision Support Tool for neurological disorders.

Hospitals and clinics can use the technology to gain an upper edge in the clinical decision support mechanisms to take preventive measures. The analysis of NEUROShield enables actionable, quantitative, objective decision making to the neuro-physicians for differential diagnosis. The NeuroShield technology uses pattern recognition and deep learning for the development of clinical biomarkers for early prognosis and differential diagnosis.

NEUROShield is based on AI that utilizes 3D MRI images to extract data and provide a volumetric analysis of the brain and its various structures. The company says that the technology can be used to perform analysis on Indian and Caucasian brains.

Co-founder of InMed Prognostics, Rajesh Purushottam said, “The launch of NEUROShield is a step closer towards making mental health more acceptable by dissolving the stigma around it and making it more acceptable across age groups and geographies.
