Interim Union Budget to be presented today

The Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman is scheduled to present the interim Union Budget 2024 in the Parliament today at 11 am.

It will set the stage for the temporary financial plan until the new government takes over. This will be 6th budget presentation put forth by the finance minister that included five annual and one interim.

The expectation of each sector resonates with the aspirations for sustainability, innovation, and growth, underscoring the intricate interconnection within India’s economic landscape. Aligned with the Government’s vision to propel India to a $5 trillion economy by 2025, there is a resounding call to focus on establishing domestic manufacturing units, enhancing the industry’s resilience and global competitiveness. Strengthening policies to attract Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) inflows and building international trade relations are seen as crucial steps toward realizing this ambitious economic milestone.
