Jaslok Hospital And Research Centre Launches New State-Of-The-Art ICU

Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre on Thursday launched a 37-bed, state of the art advanced ICU with multi-para monitors and ventilators. The ICU was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Mrs. Amruta Fadnavis.

With the help of the ICU launch the hospital intends to take the critical care services to the next level.”

As per international standards, the ICU spreads over two floors, has well-designed patient areas, treatment areas, nursing areas, teaching and learning areas for uninterrupted care of the patient in ICU. Along with this, different provisions like X-ray, USG, 2D Echo and central line procedures can be carried out at the bedside of the patient. There would be Central Monitoring System to enable doctors and nurses to manage all critical patients, provide necessary medical intervention and adopt new lines as per the vital parameters of patients. A dialysis facility will also be available at the ICU.

Besides the technologies, the ICU would consist clinical excellence with the presence of a reputed team of super specialist doctors and interventionists, 24*7 Intensivist on duty, trained and qualified interdisciplinary team including nursing, nutritionist, physiotherapists, respiratory technicians, counselors, a social worker.
