400-bed hospital to be set up in Aurangabad

Aurangabad, Jan 19 (UNI) A 400-bed women’s and neonatal hospital will be set up on the site of Government Milk Dairy on Jalna road in Aurangabad instead of 200 beds, said Aurangabad MP Imtiaz Jaleel.

In his press statement issued last night after inspecting the construction of the hospital yesterday. A fund of Rs 111 crore has also been sanctioned for this, he said.

The work of this hospital will be completed in the next two years and apart from Aurangabad district, the people of Marathwada will benefit from this hospital, Mr Jaleel further said .

The main building of the four storey hospital will have basement parking, X-Ray Radiologist, Stationery Room, SSSD Room, Histology – Saptology Lab, Sonography – ECG Rooms, Pediatrics, Nursing-Nutrition, S-Interaction, Examination, Pediatrics, Medic, Lobby-ANC Ward, Department of Surgery, Various Test Labs, Various Medical Technical Departments as well as Office of Administrative and Medical Officers, Added Mr Jaleel.
