Max Q1FY25: Revenue jumps 18% to Rs 2,028 crore; PAT hits Rs 295 crore
Max Healthcare has announced Q1FY25 results.
Gross revenue jumped 18 percent YoY to Rs 2,028 crore in Q1 FY25 as against Rs 1,719 crore in Q1FY24.
PAT stood at Rs 295 crore in Q1 FY25 as against Rs 291 crore in Q1 FY24, an increase of 1% YoY.
Operating EBITDA was Rs 499 crore in Q1 FY25 as against Rs 436 crore in Q1 FY24, an increase of 14% YoY.
Other highlights:
Bed occupancy for existing units was 76.6%, with OBDs up by 5% YoY, while new units reported occupancy of 59%. During the quarter, overall OBDs grew by 14% YoY.
Max Super Specialty Hospital, Dwarka, 303-bedded, 5-Star GRIHA hospital commenced its operations on 2nd July 2024. It currently has 125 doctors & 477 nurses, paramedics & support staff. Further, the hospital is equipped with a 20-bed emergency department, 120 ICU beds, 11 modular operation theatres, Azurion cath labs, advanced imaging including 3Tesla MRI, Da-Vinci surgical robots & 50 OPD chambers.
Both Max Hospital Nagpur and Lucknow have successfully met key post-merger integration objectives and currently are focused on expanding their service offerings through facility upgrades, bed additions, recruitment of top medical talent, and advanced clinical programs.
“With the launch of Max Super Specialty Hospital, Dwarka, we have added over 900 beds to our capacity so far and have successfully supplemented the momentum of growth in revenues and profitability before augmentation of bed capacity through brownfield expansion plans in FY26. In the meanwhile, consistent performance in existing hospitals and encouraging response to our offerings at new units is providing us with confidence to further pursue growth opportunities including newly entered built-to-suit arrangement in Mohali,” said Abhay Soi, Chairman and Managing Director, Max Healthcare Institute Ltd.
