NOIDA: The new district hospital building in Noida sector 39 is all set to become operational from March-end, said officials on Friday. Chief medical officer (CMO) Dr. Anurag Bhargava has received a letter from Noida Authority allowing handover of the building to the district health department.
The CMO has formed a 10-12 member inspection committee comprising officials from PWD, electrical safety, fire, environment, pollution departments, among others. “We will undertake an inspection of the building to check all the necessary prerequisites such as fire safety measures, electrical safety, pollution and environment norm adherence etc,” said Dr. Bhargava.
“I have already sent a list of requirements to the directorate of medical and health services. These include beds, OT equipment, machines, etc. We already have got a sanction for CT scan and a dialysis centre,” said Dr Bhargava.
The hospital is built on an area of 14,000 sqm, which includes ground floor + three basements for services and parking + eight floors, a separate residential building of ground floor + 18 floors which will have 72 flats (4 flats per floor).-Times Of India
