NRI doctors in US donate medical equipment to Chhattisgarh

The American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI) has donated six intensive care ventilators with compressors worth Rs. 75 lakhs to Chhattisgarh.

It has been donated under the Covid-19 relief program. These ventilators will be installed in the district hospitals of Rajnandgaon, Gariaband and the Urban Community Health Centre at Gudhiyari, Raipur, an official communication said on Wednesday.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has thanked AAPI President Dr Ravi Kolli and other office bearers for the donation.

The AAPI has more than 80,000 doctors practicing in the United States. Daily Pioneer
