Inaugurated in 1991, Niraj Industries Pvt. Ltd., a sister company to renowned Hindustan Syringes & Medical Devices Ltd. (also known as HMD) and part of HMD Group of Companies, is the home to popular Glass Van & Techno Cut Brands. In 2019, the established organization, has moved its operations to a newer & bigger manufacturing facility at IMT Industrial Area, Faridabad.

With this change, HMD has revamped its production for surgical blades to over 150 million premium quality Swiss glass van stainless steel and carbon steel made blades per annum. In addition to the same, Niraj Industries is also manufacturing high quality techno cut scalpels on a completely automated line. The established MSME is already exporting CE Marked and FDA registered products to 50+ countries including United States of America, where it is among the top three blades in the discerning market.

HMD is following premium and reliable, British technology to manufacture such high precision consistently ground ISI Marked (BIS Certified) blades, which is accounting for major share in the growing medical device market of India. With such increase in production capacity backed by high-power technology, HMD is targeting to meet 50 percent of global demand of superior quality blades and scalpels. – MB Bureau
