PSA oxygen plant at Vijaya Healthcare hospitals

An onsite PSA oxygen generation plant with a sufficient capacity to support 50 to 100 beds has been established at Vijaya Healthcare Hospitals, Secunderabad by MVS Engineering, the noted onsite oxygen generation solutions provider, a press release said.

Before the PSA oxygen generation plant, the Vijaya Healthcare used to draw its oxygen supply from the reserves of liquid oxygen tanks and cylinders that were kept on the standby.

“The oxygen plant at the hospital will augment supply and ensure unfailing, reliable, and fool-proof supplies of oxygen is available at all times to patients,” Siddharth Rastogi, ED, MVS Engineering Pvt Ltd, said.

Director, Vijaya Health Care, Dr Narasimha Rao said transporting oxygen supplies from faraway locations is a big problem. “Oxygen generation should occur at the same place where the oxygen consumption is taking place. Moreover, presence of a mini PSA oxygen plant has become minimum standards for hospitals with more than 50 beds under Clinical Establishment Act,” he added. Telangana Today
