Rs 1 crore for RC Agarwal Memorial Hospital expansion

The HP Budhia Charitable Trust has announced Rs 1 crore for the expansion and upgrade of RC Agarwal Memorial Hospital and Research Center in Tinsukia, Assam. From increasing beds for patients to creating rooms for nurses, from world-class testing facilities to increasing dialysis units from two to four, the hospital needed expansion and upgrade. The aim of the hospital is to meet healthcare requirements of the denizens of Tinsukia town and nearby areas. It is not a charity hospital, but charges are reasonable to make healthcare affordable; and any profit coming out of it is put back for the development of the hospital. The hospital has facilities such as critical care, dialysis, medicine, general surgery, diabetes, and laparoscopic surgery among others but there is scope for further improvement besides adding new facilities.
