NEW DELHI: Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital, one of the premier hospitals run by the Centre, has decided to run a special OPD daily to address issues faced by senior citizens suffering from muscles, ligaments and joints problems.
Earlier, orthopaedic OPD for senior citizens was operating only once a week, officials said. Senior citizens often face problems in accessing the medical facilities due to overcrowding. They often have to wait or stand in queues. Having a special OPD for them, a doctor said, is aimed to ease their access to healthcare.-Times Of India
