SVIMS to Collaborate with HGHI for Better Healthcare

Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) and Harvard Global Health Institute (HGHI) have agreed for mutual collaboration in the field of healthcare. SVIMS Director cum Vice Chancellor Prof TS Ravikumar, during his visit to Harvard on July 17-19, discussed various aspects with the officials there and found areas for mutual cooperation. It was decided to incorporate new ideas into the next interaction of Harvard X Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) of Improving Global health through Quality which can be made available to all healthcare providers and students in India. Another area for collaboration is in the development of National Patient Safety Cell and he has submitted a proposal to ICMR Department of Health Research.
