Tata Motors Hospital gets lab information management system

Tata Motors Hospital has dedicated to include the new Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), highly advanced laboratory software with end-to-end solution for entire lab operations right from patients’ sample collection to dispatch and viewing of reports, to its laboratory. This LIMS software can be connected with all the laboratory equipment and is also integrated with the existing hospital software HOPE. The LIMS software is developed by Itdose Infosystems Pvt. Ltd., which is currently used by many leading hospitals and laboratories in India and abroad. The software will enable all the samples to be barcoded and tracked in real time and it is bi-directionally interfaced with all the analyzers. The software is also compliant with national and international healthcare standards such as NABL, QCI, HL7, ILAC, and HIPPA. This software system is user friendly and offers some added features like flags for abnormal reports and critical-value alert to the doctors and nurses for immediate intervention. It will also improve turnaround time and hence enhance efficiency of laboratory processes.
