Yumizen CA60 and Yumizen E100 from Horiba

HORIBA India introduces Yumizen CA 60, semi-auto Clinical Chemistry analyzer. This analyzer is based on vertical overlay concept design (VOCD) equipped with multi array light system (MALS).

Yumizen CA60 features a 7-inch colored touchscreen display with tile-based menu configuration and changes colors on abnormal results. This analyzer has quartz flow cuvette with a capacity of 18µL which helps to consume reagents as less as 100 µL. It comes with storage capacity of 1,00,000 results with all pre-programmed parameters required for analysis in a lab. The MALS technology replaces conventional halogen lamp and the filter technology increases life and decreases wear-and-tear cost of the instrument.

The Yumizen E100 Electrolyte analyzer is designed to conduct basic electrolyte analysis accurately, efficiently and quickly in the convenience of the laboratory. This is one of the world’s fastest electrolyte analyzer with a throughput of 512 tests / hour and features 5-inch colored touchscreen display with remote user access facility. Its methodology is based on ion selective electrode measurement to determine the analyte values. There are six different electrodes used in the Yumizen E100 electrolyte analyzer: Sodium, Potassium, Chloride, Ionized Calcium, Lithium, and a Reference Electrode. Five electrodes can be installed on the analyzer at a time, out of which one must be reference. Each analyte electrode has an ion selective membrane that undergoes a specific interaction with the corresponding ions contained in the sample being analyzed. The membrane interacts with specific ions causing a change in the membrane potential, or measuring voltage, which is built up in the film between the sample and the membrane. Yumizen E100 has latest connectivity features to online service support from remote locations with the help of Wi-Fi. It also has USB and LAN ports for LIS connection and other data access requirements.
