1505 Benefited from Ayushman Bharat in Haryana: Vij

Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij said that under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, so far, 1505 patients have been provided with medical assistance of about Rs 1.90 crore in the state.  During the last four months, 2598 patients have taken healthcare service in various hospitals, Vij said. The Minister said that in Haryana, 1166 patients have taken treatment in private hospitals and 1432 patients in government hospitals. For this, so far 1913 patients have sent their claims, out of which 891 patients have provided bills of private hospitals and 1022 patients have provided bills of government hospitals. Out of these, 1505 patients have been paid and the payment of the remaining patients’ bills is under process. Apart from this, treatment of other patients is going on in various hospitals, he said. Vij further said that Ayushman Bharat Scheme was launched in Haryana from August 15, 2018. After this, under beneficiary identification system, golden record of 211,670 people of the state were approved, he said. – Daily Pioneer
