PointClickCare Technologies announced that Bill Charnetski, Executive Vice President, Health System Solutions and Government Affairs at PointClickCare, has been elected to American Health Care Association’s (AHCA) Board of Governors as Associate Business Member (ABM) President. The election results were announced today at the AHCA/NCAL Convention & Expo: Delivering Solutions 23 closing ceremony.

As an AHCA board member, Charnetski will contribute his invaluable industry knowledge, strategic vision, and leadership to help steer the direction of the association and drive its mission of advocating for vulnerable populations. He will actively collaborate with other esteemed industry professionals, working toward collective goals that promote growth, innovation, and equitable funding within the long-term and post-acute care (LTPAC) space.

“We are thrilled to congratulate Bill on his achievement as he continues to inspire a better healthcare system for seniors nationwide,” said Dave Wessinger, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at PointClickCare. “Between Bill’s expertise and our company’s support, he is well positioned to serve as a voice for AHCA members and to further amplify the positive impact of these associations.”

With a career spanning health business, government, and law, Charnetski is uniquely prepared to bring a new perspective to the AHCA Board of Governors, and his appointment further underscores his dedication and commitment to advancing the LTPAC landscape.

“Our industry faces many challenges, including a pivotal moment with the shift to national interoperability within the healthcare system,” said Charnetski. “I’m both honored and energized to join AHCA in this role, to continue PointClickCare’s commitment to advocating on behalf of LTPAC owners and operators in Washington and state capitols.”

AHCA/NCAL is a renowned association that plays a pivotal role in advocating for the interests of the LTPAC ecosystem and fostering collaboration among industry stakeholders.
