BGB Group acquires Kx Advisors

BGB Group, a New York-based healthcare communications agency, has acquired Kx Advisors, a Washington, DC-based healthcare strategy consulting firm.

Formerly the healthcare practice of management consultancy Kaiser Associates, Kx Advisors spun out as an independent firm in 2019. The firm specializes in strategy consulting for biopharma, medical device, digital health, and diagnostic companies.

Kx Advisors’ offerings include corporate strategy and franchise planning, market expansion and forecasting, M&A, new product planning, pricing and market access, and brand planning and launch strategy.

The firm has 46 employees listed on LinkedIn and has offices in Washington, DC, Boston, and London.

BGB’s acquisition of Kx Advisors further strengthens its strategy consulting capability, which BGB has been working to expand over the last several years.

Private equity firm TPG Capital made a significant investment in BGB in 2021, valuing the firm at $760 million. The investment has enabled bolt-ons and capability expansion.

BGB was founded in 2005 and provides services in healthcare advertising, medical communications, payer marketing, and strategic consulting. The agency has more than 500 employees.
