Chetak Foundation joins hands with Max Healthcare

Chetak Foundation (the social arm of Chetak Group, the leader in Automotive Logistics in India) has collaborated with India’s leading Hospital – Max Healthcare to felicitate their frontline workers and drivers and provide them with sanitization kits, which will help them with covid preparedness. 1,000 sanitization kits were handed over to covid frontline workers and drivers at a ceremony at Max Healthcare, here today.

Sachin Haritash, Board Member, Chetak Group said, “Chetak Foundation has been founded to make a positive impact on the community, in line with the vision of our founder late Shri J K Sharma ji. We are humbled that Max Healthcare has collaborated with us for this noble cause and it reflects the social ethos being practiced by the organization. We would like to convey our gratitude to the entire team of Max Healthcare, New Delhi.”

Earlier, the Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Shri Ramdas Athawale, while formally rolling out Chetak Foundation’s Health & Fitness Scheme had said, “It is heartening to see Chetak Foundation come forward and support the government’s efforts by acknowledging the Covid frontline workers and drivers who work tirelessly helping the public at large while risking their own lives. We need many more corporates and foundations to join hands in such noble initiatives”

Dr. Pankaj Duggal, Clinical Director, Max Healthcare said ” We acknowledge the efforts by Chetak Foundation in felicitating the frontline workers who have been the backbone of the healthcare system during the pandemic and strived for the cause of saving lives. Sanitation is the key factor in averting the spread of covid, which remains crucial and needs to be adhered by one and all to break the covid chain.”

Dr. Gurpreet Singh, Senior Vice President and Unit Head Max Healthcare said, “Congratulations to Chetak Foundation for taking up the cause of helping the underprivileged in maintaining good hygiene. This indeed is a timely initiative and in line with the values being practiced by Max. Max Healthcare has always prioritized the health and sanitation of its healthcare staff.”

Max has identified drivers, security guards, nurses, paramedics, housekeeping and cleaning staff for the felicitation and provision of sanitization kits.
