400 LPM oxygen plant inaugurated at SDH Kokernag

Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways and Civil Aviation, General VK Singh inaugurated 400 LPM Oxygen plant at Sub-district Hospital at Kokernag in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir. The minister has visited Anantnag district as a part of his public outreach programme. Congratulating the officers for installing the plant, the Union Minister said such public amenities prove very helpful both in normal and emergency situations like Covid. He also hailed the efforts of medical and paramedical staff for their extra-ordinary work during the Covid Pandemic.

Gen VK Singh also held an interactive session with elected public representatives and delegations of District Development Council and Block Development Council members, other Panchayati Raj Institutions, and Urban Local Bodies members and councilors. He assured the public representatives and delegations to address their genuine issues and demands in a time bound manner.
