Rajasthan To Get 737 Doctors, 15,500 Paramedics: Health Minister Raghu Sharma

Health minister Raghu Sharma on Saturday announced that soon the state will get 737 new doctors and about 15,500 paramedics. Sharma was on a tour to Ajmer. He also inaugurated various development works in the rural areas here.
Addressing a programme at Gola village, he said that to meet the shortage of staff in government hospitals, there will soon be recruitment of 1,500 nursing staff. He also said that 737 new doctors will be recruited soon.

He said that the recruitment process has been initiated and till the recruitment, the government has asked hospitals to vacate places of doctors, so that temporary arrangements can be made. He also announced to open a primary health centre in Gola village of Pisangan block.

In another programme, he said that efforts were being made for empowerment of women. He also said the condition of the country’s economy is poor and that the Centre should work to improve it. He added that Rajasthan is the first state in the country which will give the right to health to seven crore people.

He said that the health and medical condition of Rajasthan is best in terms of free medicines and free check-ups.

He also warned that if any doctor is found writing medicines from outside, he/she will be dealt with strictly.-Times Of India
