Sysmex, UK appoints George Tarpley as product marketing manager, coagulation

Sysmex has appointed George Tarpley as product marketing manager, coagulation.

George will play a key role in supporting the business development activity of commercial teams as well as championing the needs of customers in the UK and Ireland in the coagulation product development process.

George joined the product team at Sysmex in 2017 on a year-long internship whilst still at Loughborough University.

After graduating with a First-Class honors degree in human biology, he rejoined the company in 2019 and was seconded to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Newcastle where he worked as a scientific trainee / biomedical scientist until March 2021 when he joined the coagulation product team as an application specialist. Since then, he has spent much of his time working at the Sysmex global coagulation evaluation center, based at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield, where he has completed extensive clinical performance evaluation studies on behalf of S-Corp. He completed his Masters in Biomedical Science with Distinction in September 2023.
