Thermo Fisher Scientific appoints Srinath Venkatesh as MD, India & SA

Thermo Fisher Scientific India has appointed Srinath Venkatesh as Managing Director, India and South Asia.

With over 30 years of experience, Venkatesh has played a pivotal role in driving sustained growth and success across various industrial and capital businesses.

Prior to this, he was president of Danaher India. Earlier he held several business leadership roles including Managing Director- India & SEA for Cepheid, Country Leader and CEO for GE in Bangladesh,

An alumnus of Modern School in Delhi, he earned his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya in Gujarat and subsequently completed his MBA from IISWBM, Kolkata.

Venkatesh succeeds Amit Chopra who after a 17 year stint with the company, recently relinquished the post.
