₹80 Lakh for Balanga Hospital Modernization

The Health and Family Welfare Department has sanctioned ₹80 lakh for modernisation of the Balanga Government Hospital. As per guidelines of the department, all renovation works of hospital will be completed by March next and the old hospital will be renamed as Health Welfare Center, where all medical facilities like blood, stool, urine, X-Ray, ECG and other clinical tests will be available under one roof. Besides, a health card facility will be provided to the patients at the healthcare center and all medicines will available free of cost. Everyday more than 20,000 inhabitants of Nimapara, Pipili and Satyabadi Assembly constituencies depend on the Balanga hospital for health services. Balanga is the only one hospital of Puri district which has got the financial assistance for upgradation. – Daily Pioneer
