Apollo Spectra, Apollo One launch boutique hospital in Delhi

Apollo Spectra Hospitals and Apollo One, a part of Apollo Health and Lifestyle Limited, on Friday officially launched their boutique hospital on Pusa Road, Karol Bagh, in Delhi.

During a press conference today, the hospital announced that the newly launched boutique hospital integrates the specialised expertise of Apollo Spectra, which focuses in short stay surgeries, with a holistic healthcare approach of Apollo One, AI based preventive health solutions.

This integration allows for a comprehensive spectrum of medical services, delivered by a team of super-specialist doctors from across India.

“…at Apollo Spectra we offer short-stay surgeries across various specialties and in case of complicated procedures like bypass you can go to other hospitals. We have high-end operation theatres and other facilities. All services are available here. Apollo One will be taking preventive healthcare to a next level. We provide a wide variety of facilities. These tests can detect all types of risk factors. We value conscious services and we are going to integrate with the insurance providers. Most of the surgeries are 100 percent covered under insurance,” Sriram Iyer, CEO, Apollo Health and Lifestyle Ltd. told Financial Express.com.

He also pointed out that in India health-checkup doesn’t get covered under insurance. “…but there has always been a request to the government to ensure that all policyholders should have a preventive health checkup and this will help in making healthcare facilities affordable,” Iyer said.

Till now, over 500 surgeries have been performed in the newly-opened Apollo Spectra Hospital in Delhi, a company spokesperson told Financial Express.com.

“This boutique hospital exemplifies our commitment to making premium healthcare accessible to all. The state-of-the-art facilities and a multi-disciplinary team of specialists provide a new level of care for patients. Equipped with cutting edge technology and equipment including robotic surgical systems, advanced diagnostic capabilities and our signature preventive health programs, the hospital redefines patient experience and the best of clinical outcomes in the region,” MBN Rao, Chairman of the board, Apollo Health and Lifestyle Ltd. said during the press conference today.

Former professional tennis player, Sania Mirza was the guest of honour at the inaugural ceremony today. She also unveiled the hospital’s tele-ICU programme, robotic surgery suite, comprehensive diagnostics centre, and the Apollo ProHealth personalised health screening program.

Iyer also informed that the facility specializes in precision medicine, advanced preventive care programs as well as surgical excellence. It offers comprehensive diagnostics including CT scans, X-rays, ultrasound scans (USG) and mammography, ensuring thorough health assessments and early detection.

The hospital claims that Apollo One provides a tailored 180-minute screening program engineered for swift and efficient results.

“Designed with a focus on rapid turnaround time, this comprehensive assessment ensures minimal disruption to your busy schedule while maximizing the depth of insights gained,” it stated.

Apollo Pusa Road is a part of Apollo Spectra Hospitals network which has a footprint of over 20 hospitals performing more than 4,00,000 surgical procedures. Apollo Spectra offers an extensive range of services including specialities such as orthopaedics and spine, general and laparoscopic surgery, ENT, gastroenterology, bariatrics and urology, among others, it claimed.

On the other hand, Apollo One is dedicated to keeping you on the path to wellness by driving preventive health checks with AI-powered predictive risk scores, offering innovative services such as Apollo ProHealth which crafts Tech-backed solutions to predict and prevent cardiac and other risks like lung and metabolic function disorders, cancers and gut genetics with expert doctors to interpret and discover a path to better health.
