Cognizant To Buy Irish Firm Zenith Technologies

Tech major Cognizant has agreed to acquire Ireland-based Zenith Technologies for an undisclosed value. The buy will strengthen Cognizant’s Internet of Things capabilities and life sciences domain expertise. Zenith Technologies , a life sciences manufacturing technology services firm, specialises in implementing digital technologies to manage, control and optimise drug and medical device production for operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

This acquisition, first inorganic move under its new CEO, Brian Humphries, would extend Cognizant’s capabilities for designing, implementing and managing end-to-end operational and information technology systems for connected bio-pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, said the company in a statement. – The Hindu
