The new CS 9600 is a highly intelligent and versatile cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) system, designed for teeth, jaw, TMJ, face, ENT, upper C-spine, and wrist imaging that features a familiar DICOM radiology workflow, as well as a state-of-the-art DICOM review station.

Radiologists and technologists will appreciate the CS 9600’s streamlined query, acquire, prepare, print, distribute, review workflow that accelerates throughput and reduces the need for training. The system automatically retrieves the list of procedures from the RIS, and the work list displays the status of exams (completion, reconstruction, transfer, and failure). Preparation work done by the radiographer on the acquisition station can be sent directly to the radiologist, saving up to ten minutes per case and optimizing diagnosis time.

The advanced CS Imaging suite – combined with a new CS DICOM module – provides a powerful 2D/3D review station, featuring advanced viewing functions for dental, maxillofacial, and ENT needs, and a seamless DICOM integration. Intuitive and easy to use, the software is a perfect way to review images, and share them with referring dentists and physicians. All images, stored on the local repository and on PACS, are accessible from a single image gallery, so image search and transfer are faster and easier.

In addition to the CS 9600’s familiar radiology workflow and seamless DICOM interoperability, the system includes advanced features that aid in diagnosis, and contribute to patient safety. A 120-kV high-power tube, combined with intelligent filtration, optimize image quality by reducing beam-hardening artifacts. Exclusive algorithms – CS MAR – reduce metal artifacts for better image quality, and even let users compare images live with and without a filter for more confident diagnosis. Video cameras used in conjunction with smart auto technology aids with positioning patients accurately on the first try, reduce the need for retakes, unnecessary exposures, and lost time.

The CS 9600 blends 2D panoramic technology and CBCT imaging with 3D facial scanning to create one powerful unit, which can also be upgraded to include cephalometric imaging. The system gives users control over volume size, field-of-view position, resolution, and dose to truly adapt to every exam need.
