CWG COVID Care Centre made operational with 500 O2 beds

Amid the surge in Covid-19 cases following the emergence of Omicron variant of coronavirus in the national capital, a total of 500 oxygen beds have been prepared at the Commonwealth Games Village’s COVID care centre, informed Doctors For You (DFY) President Dr Rajat Jain on January 7. “110 patients admitted at CWG COVID-care center under District Administration East, Delhi. “It’s a 500-bedded oxygen facility for patients with mild symptoms. Those with severe symptoms visit hospitals, and the role of such centers is to ensure that hospitals are not overburdened,” he added. ANI
