DC inaugurated two modern machines in Hamirpur Hospital

Deputy Commissioner Debashweta Banik on Saturday inaugurated two modern machines at Dr Radhakrishnan Medical College Hospital, Hamirpur costing about 30 lakh rupees and will be available to the patients in the hospital for their treatment.

She first inaugurated the ERBA Advanced Hematology Analyzer in the central laboratory of the hospital. This analyzer has been made available by the Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Anurag Singh Thakur.

With the installation of this modern analyzer, multiple tests can be done at once by taking blood samples of patients in the medical college hospital and their reports would also be made available soon.

The Deputy Commissioner also inaugurated the modern NeoNatal Ventilator provided by ICICI Bank for the children’s ward under the Corporate Social Responsibility Scheme.

Speaking on the occasion, she said that in view of the corona crisis, this NeoNatal Ventilator would be installed in the children’s ward. This ventilator will prove to be lifesaver for babies born before the normal period. It is equipped with a high frequency oscillator which keeps the ventilator running even in adverse conditions.

The Principal of Medical College Dr Suman Yadav thanked the Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Singh Thakur and ICICI Bank Management for providing these modern machines to the hospital. United News of India
