Dr Hari Prasad Kovelamudi superannuates after 28 years

Dr K. Hari Prasad has retired as president of Apollo Hospitals after 28 years of service.

Management and employees of the group gave a warm send-off to Dr Hari Prasad. His time at Apollo Hospitals has been transformative, both personally and professionally.

As the president, he oversaw the hospital sales and operations of Apollo Group. He has been leading this division since 2015, after serving as the CEO of the Central Region for eight and a half years.

A trained anesthetist, Dr Hari Prasad has been the Founder Chairman of the Society for Emergency Medicine India, a professional body that promotes the development and practice of emergency medicine in the country.

An alumnus of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, he did his MBBS from Gandhi Medical College, Musheerabad, Telangana. Later he completed his MD in anesthesia from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore before earning FCEM from RCEM.
