L&T bags orders worth ₹2500- ₹5K crore; to build hospital in Oman

Larsen and Toubro (L&T) announced on Wednesday, March 27, that its buildings and factories vertical within L&T Construction have secured numerous orders valued between Rs 2,500 crore to Rs 5,000 crore from both domestic and international markets.

According to L&T’s categorization, orders falling within the Rs 2,500 crore to Rs 5,000 crore range are classified as ‘large’ orders.

Among these recent wins, L&T will undertake the construction of the 165-bed Al Namaa General Hospital in Oman, commissioned by the Ministry of Health of the Sultanate of Oman. This project, scheduled to be completed within 30 months, encompasses civil structures, MEP services, medical equipment installation, finishing works, and external development, including landscaping.

In the domestic work, L&T Construction secured a contract for the construction of the Maa Kamakhya Temple Access Corridor in Assam, acquired from the state’s Public Works Department.

This project, on a design and build turnkey basis, involves the construction of a multi-utility building, pilgrim management block, Chinnamasta block, Siddheshwar block, access corridor, as well as finishing works, allied MEP services, and external development on the premises.

Additionally, L&T Construction clinched an order from a subsidiary of a leading paint manufacturing company to construct a polymer manufacturing plant in Gujarat. The scope of work encompasses civil, structural, and architectural activities, including external development works.

Concluding its spree of achievements, L&T Construction secured another order for civil, structural, and architectural works for a solar glass manufacturing plant, also located in Gujarat. The Financial Express
