Medical college in Lohardaga soon

A Dialysis Center was inaugurated by Lok Sabha MP Sudarshan Bhagat and Finance Minister Dr Rameshwar Oraon on Thursday in the building located in Sadar Hospital. Oraon said on the occasion that after the inauguration of the dialysis center, now those patients who used to go to Ranchi or other places for dialysis till now, will get a lot of facilities. With the installation of this machine in this district, now the patient’s time and money will be saved.

The Minister said that a budget has been passed for a 100 bedded multistoried hospital in Lohardaga district. A medical college will also come up in Lohardaga district. Students will be able to come to Sadar Hospital and do research on patients. The state government should develop Khunti, Ramgarh and Lohardaga districts as medical hubs so that there is less rush of patients in Ranchi. The Minister said that a digital X-ray machine will be inaugurated in Lohardaga district on July 08 at a cost of Rs 25 lakhs.

Lok Sabha MP Sudarshan Bhagat said that this work has been successful due to the joint efforts of the Central and State Governments, which is commendable. People will get benefit of this. Those who are poor will get free dialysis facility. The opening of a hundred-bed hospital and medical college in the coming times will be a big achievement for Lohardaga district. The dialysis center will be operated by Scab Sanjeevani Private Limited, Kolkata, for which an agreement has been signed between the Government of Jharkhand and the National Health Mission. Dialysis centers can do dialysis of up to five persons at a time. At present there is a dialysis facility for two people. Those who have Ayushman Bharat card, are below poverty line or belong to low income group, their family’s dialysis will be free. At the same time, the fee per dialysis for normal and able people will be Rs 1206.
