Medlab Asia and Asia Health 2023 partner with Thailand’s Department of Health Service Support, Ministry of Public Health

Informa Markets, the organiser of Medlab Asia and Asia Health 2023, in collaboration with Impact Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., has officially announced a partnership with Thailand’s Department of Health Service Support, Ministry of Public Health, underscoring a commitment to attract industry professionals to the exhibition and medical professionals to the academic conference.

The event, which will take place from 16th to 18th August at IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani – Bangkok, Thailand, is expected to welcome more than 7,500 participants from a cross-section of the region’s healthcare sector, including medical personnel, academics, and representatives from healthcare business.

Tom Coleman, Exhibition Director of Informa Markets, added: “Due to the rapid growth of the medical equipment and medical laboratory industry in the Southeast Asian region, Medlab Asia and Asia Health 2023 will showcase more innovations and technologies. This event aims to drive the industry forward and build upon the success of previous years. It will serve as a platform for connecting buyers and suppliers, bringing together manufacturers from around the world. Visitors to the event will be able to explore over 3,000 medical devices and technologies from domestic and international sources.”

In addition to the exhibition, the event will also feature international medical conferences divided into two main categories, the Medical Laboratory Conference and the General Medical Conference and Medical Business Seminar. The objective is to promote knowledge sharing and development to enhance the capabilities of Thai medical professionals. Medlab Asia & Asia Health has also collaborated with the Central Sterilizing Services Association, Thailand, to organise the event alongside their annual academic conference.

During the exhibition, several topics will be covered, including Future Health Panel, organised by the Department of Health Service Support, Ministry of Public Health; Emergency Medicine, organised by the National Institute of Emergency Medicine; Laboratory Management, Immunology, Molecular Diagnostics, Clinical Chemistry, Clinical Microbiology and Hematology, organised by the Thai Clinical Pathology Association; Total Radiology, organised by the Thai Association of Radiological Technologists; Nursing, organised by the Thai Nursing Association; Patient Safety & Infection Control, organised by the Healthcare Accreditation Institute (HA); Doing business in Thailand, organised by the Thai Medical Device Industry Association; and Digital Health, organised by the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) and the Thai Medical Equipment Association.

Loy Jun How, the General Manager of Impact Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., stated: “With the increased demand for medical equipment and healthcare products following the Covid-19 pandemic and in preparation for Thailand’s 100ageing society, Thailand is becoming a centre of development in the field of medical devices. This medical equipment exhibition aims to gather experts in medical instruments and laboratory equipment by attracting over 7,500 participants from ASEAN countries to create networks, learn, and engage in business negotiations.

Medlab Asia & Asia Health has received a positive response from the medical community in the ASEAN region. As the host of diverse medical academic conferences, it has attracted significant interest from medical professionals and students. As the only medical equipment exhibition in the Asia-Pacific region that combines academic conferences and offers CME, CMTE, CPD, CEPA, and CNEU credits for healthcare professionals, it is expected to have more than 2,000 participants. Attendees will learn from 55 speakers from 15 countries, who will share their experiences and knowledge, enabling medical professionals in the region to enhance their skills and improve patient care.”

Medlab Asia & Asia Health 2023, an international healthcare and laboratory exhibition and medical conference, along with the annual academic conference organised by the Central Sterilizing Services Association, will take place from 16-18 August 2023, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The event will be held in Halls 6-7 of the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani – Bangkok, Thailand.
