Mindray’s new surgical units are set to enrich OR solutions

On June 30th, Mindray released two brand-new surgical units – HyPort P Series medical supply units and HyBase V9 operating table. These two new models bring more optimization into the operating room and form more efficient and safer OR solutions with its classic surgical lights.

HyPort P Series presents a versatile range of options consisting of three models: the P30 mechanical pendant, the P60 motorized pendant, and the P90 vertically lifting pendant. These portfolios are designed to adapt to various types of operating rooms while efficiently enhancing workflow for the surgical staff.

An excellent example is the HyPort P90, which boasts a motorized arm/lifting system. This feature allows for the secure locking and elevation of anesthesia workstations or endoscopy carts, enabling easy movement and safe parking. On the other hand, the compact design of the P30/P60 anesthesia pendants provides ample operating space for surgical teams. These practical solutions serve as reliable platforms for anesthesiologists to work with anesthesia machines, creating a comfortable and secure environment in the operating room.

As to minimally invasive surgeries, HyPort P60 shines as a versatile endoscope pendant solution. It implements a new distribution layout that effectively manages multiple devices and cables. Furthermore, it employs separate gas and electricity systems to ensure double security, safeguarding both the devices and their overall lifespan.

The new HyBase V9 operating table is designed on the success of HyBase V8 released in 2021, offering practical and powerful functions to improve clinical workflow. With a maximum capacity of 570kg and up to 275kg all-position overall load, HyBase V9 can accommodate overweight patients with extra stability. The new feature, MegaSlide, is able to extend the longitudinal shift up to 480mm, allowing for broader image access to C-arm and better radiolucent image quality with the carbon fiber tabletop. Additionally, HyBase V9 offers simultaneous movements to increase positioning efficiency and reduce patient sliding.

Together, the new surgical portfolios provide a comprehensive peri-operative package for different scenarios.
