More Than 3 Lakh Children Vaccinated in Nagaland

As part of the Measles-Rubella vaccination campaign, more than three lakh children have been vaccinated in Nagaland, a Health department official said Tuesday. The Measles-Rubella vaccination campaign was launched in the state on October 3 and 330,292 children have been vaccinated till October 22, deputy director in the Health department, Dr Razuokhrieu Rio said. He said that the vaccination was conducted in 2686 schools through 1086 outreach sessions. Health department sources said that the vaccination percentage in the state as of now stands at 73.64 percent. The vaccination campaign will go on till the first week of November, Rio added. – Business Standard
