Odisha CM Inaugurates 300-Bed District Headquarter Hospital in Malkangiri

After inaugurating the much awaited Gurupriya Bridge in Malkangiri district, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik returned to the district headquarters and unveiled a 300-bed new building of District Headquarters Hospital in Malkangiri. The seven storeyed building that was inaugurated is the first of its kind Hospital in undivided Koraput. Addressing a meeting, Patnaik announced ₹100 crore special package for the cut-off areas. The Special Package is aimed at expediting development agenda including fishery, road connectivity, electrification, drinking water supply, healthcare facility, and bridges in the Swabhiman Areas as well as in the entire Malkangiri district. – Odisha News Insight
