PM Narendra Modi to virtually open 15 oxygen plants in Gorakhpur

Prime Minister Narendra Modi told the Gorakhpur administration on Thursday that he plans to open virtually 15 oxygen plants in the district.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Yogi Adityanas, with PM Care and CSR funding, 17 oxygen plants have been set up in the district hospital to produce 7.5 liters of oxygen per minute.

To ensure adequate oxygen supply in the area during the second wave, CM arranged 40 metric tons of liquid oxygen on a special train on May 10. His constant efforts have increased oxygen production at three factories in the private sector of Gorakupur. Sufficient for over 8,000 jumbo oxygen cylinders per day.
